I object to the sarcastic tone of Robert Hilburn's "review" of Phil Collins' concert at Irvine Meadows ("One More Time, One More Night," June 4).
Hilburn's review of the Collins concert did much to display Hilburn's narrow and limited view of pop music.
Why is it that Phil Collins' repetition of a phrase is worthy of attack and ridicule when Springsteen does the same thing and gets off with praise?
The whole concept of rating record albums is ludicrous, but I suppose that it is about time.
